In Paris, there exists a neighbourhood where you can locate all your essential African ingredients, speciality food products, materials and spices: Chateau Rouge. With it’s bustling energy, chaotic atmosphere, narrow stores and loud sales cries emanating from within shops- many have found themselves quickly annoyed by this quarter.
In 2017, sibling-duo Sona and Kossi Muluala studied and launched their brand: BAO. Taking inspiration from the word Baobab for its name, this shop boasts more than 2000 products and services, to name a few: butchery cuts, fishery, spices, grains, fruits, drinks, and créoles products. Products here are as numerous as they are exclusive; ginger syrups and liquor
